Product Description
Back in 2007, HiFiMAN released a line of earphones so impressive, it rocketed the still-new company to the ranks of some of the most respected names in the audiophile world. These debut products rivaled those from more established companies with 25 years of development behind them, and got the community seriously excited about what HiFiMAN had in store Read More

They sound meh to ok, but they are never comfortable with any of the stock tips and the housing are too big such that they touch your ears.

Sturdy build, but soft and flat sounding.
The RE-00s have a utilitarian design that is sturdy enough to throw around and discrete. Overall balanced sound, but they are soft sounding and don't have much bass extension. Good for a casual listen when commuting.

Sound was decent, but the knurling makes them a bit uncomfortable, and the cable is a bit stiff.

Poor build quality
Earpiece broke in half upon attempting to swap out ear pads. No clue about sound quality. Would not recommend.

Poor quality, poor sound, uncomfortable
I like a neutral response but these are tinny, sound like a phone speaker. They are very uncomfortable for my ears, and the cable doesn't feel well made either. Not good

Initially it was great... Overtime the audio on the right became noticeably quieter than the left. Oh and the braiding was too tight. After a month of use the braiding tore up. The brading should be longer to accommodate stretching.

Sound was only okay and randomly one earbud stopped working. I would not recommend.

Nice set of cheap IEMs, mine are kind of falling apart at this point but they still work and have good sound quality for their price. Big improvement over something like the hifiman bolt.

Bought these for a beater/workout iem but unfortunately the sound didn’t live up to my expectations. These have no bass and that’s coming from someone who likes a neutral response. They also sound very grainy. After living with these for a couple years I don’t even consider them mid-fi. Spend $15 more and go for the re400s. They are better in every way and a true bargain at $49. Source: AKjr Other hp’s: ER4s, re-400, HE-500

Cable came through the braids Too big for me with smallest rubbers included Plug does not have a good contact with my phone (if not inserted with maximum force, contact deteriorates to noise, then to silence. Even if inserted and working initially, if it rotates, looses the contact). Housing unscrews and comes loose during normal use. It is not a problem to screw it in again, but still... Poor quality!
