Does this keyboard have a darker color scheme? I.e. a darker colored case and/or a key cap set that is something other than white? just wondering, thanks!
For now we are just doing the white keycaps with aluminum body. We have no plans to offer a darker color at this time.
Thank you for getting back to me.
That's incredibly disheartening. Don't really care about the keycaps but was reeeeaaaallly hoping for a dark grey finish :(
I agree, honestly. Not taking shots/criticizing the current product, but I know (for myself) that I would prefer something a bit darker as well. But, again, I love the product overall. There are a lot of great features here that have been consolidated into a single board and I am extremely excited to see these go live.
Well done on this one. Again, on paper and in pictures, this appears to be a real winner.
Exactly. Aesthetically there could be more options - not everybody is into bright exuberant setups. Yet, regardless, this board ~appears~ perfect in every other way. Boarderline end-game features/specs. You have to appreciate the attention to build quality and features for once, though. Seems like many creators focus SLIGHTLY more on aesthetics than quality.
It's practically bare aluminum however, so it really wouldn't be that hard to add your own vinyl wrap, paint, or even anodize depending on who you know. Currently I'm thinking of adding a wood veneer of some sort so it will match a wood wrist rest.
At the end of the day, there will be aftermarket enhancements just like the whitefox. Only a matter of time.
That's a good idea. I will consider looking into local anodization
As pointed out above, you can always repaint it darker yourself if you wish. It is extremely easy to take apart so if you wanted to get it re-anodized or even if you wanted to spray paint it a different color you absolutely could do that very easily.
Although as an alternate question, will it be possible to also purchase just the top plate? Would be nice to have spares to mess around with.
