which switch is the closest to mx brown in terms of actuation force? how much more heavier than mx brown is the halo true?
am i correct to assume that halo true is the lighter one of the two halo switches?

Here's the experimental data from IC: https://input.club/the-comparative-guide-to-mechanical-switches/tactile/cherry-mx-brown/ https://input.club/the-comparative-guide-to-mechanical-switches/tactile/halo-true/
MX Brown and Halo True have pretty different force curves. If I am interpreting that correctly, it looks like the actuation force for the Halo-True is about 40% heavier than MX-Browns, and the bottom-out force of the Halo-True is almost double that of MX-Browns. The "tactile peak force" is only about 30% heavier.

To answer the question of which halo switch is lighter, it's actually not so simple. The Halo-True has a significantly heavier bottom out force, but actually requires less force than the Halo-Clear to overcome the tactile bump.
