Hi there,
I am interested in joining this drop, but I am a bit confused as to which switches to get.
I will probably end up using this with my laptop, so mainly gaming, and some small amounts of typing. What switches would people recommend? Also, am I correct in thinking that the switches can be swapped out at any point?
Thanks for the help :)

It all depends on your preference! Since I like clicky switches and gaming, I opted for the Kaihua Speed Gold switches, since they have a light actuation.

(and yes, you can swap them out at any time!)

Since the switches are so easy to swap out, I would try something you haven't tried before.
I personally went for the Halo Trues, which are a neat niche switch that was develop by Input Club for the K-Type. It's Tactile (with a bump up near the top) but non-clicky, and gets heavier as you bottom out (to discourage you from bottoming out). It has the nice tactile feedback, but it will cut down on the extra noise you're mic will pick up if you play online with others.

totally agree with you on that. a new switch sounds like the way to go. hoping that we can get cheap packs of the brown switch in the future made with the lighting stem. i mention cheap because i have to pay import fees/duties so that's an extra 32% and i can get "Gateron browns" for €3,70 (10 pieces) with €3,30 shipping so good deal. hoping for the same on MD

Thanks for all the advice :)
I went for the Halo True switches. Like you said, they are easy to swap out, so might as well try something new!
