YanboWuWow it looks great! I can't wait to get mine in. I do have a question about the drop that I thought was mentioned for the switches themselves. Are we going to have a chance to get a drop on them so we can try the other Halo switches around the same time? I wanted to try both and initially was getting one of each until that was mentioned and that we can swap out switches. I have the Halo Trues on the one I am getting but I really would hate to have to wait months after to try the Clears

TragestyXI agree. So much so that I'll have to lower the brightness, or turn it off completely. Hopefully the hotspots aren't as defined as they show up on camera...

Hiroyuki_SawanoIt could be the light pipes directing light to the keycap legends rather than getting dispersing around the keycap gaps.
Honestly though, I'm not too concerned about the lighting as I'm most likely slapping on some PBT caps with dyesub letters anyway.
The programming functionality and hotswappable keyswitches is why I got this one in the first place.

etatauriTrue, i never really doubted the other features, its just the lighting that will stand out the most so i want it to be good.

Hiroyuki_SawanoTotally agree! I kinda like the patterning effect of the bottom diffuser. It’s like stamps around it or some kind of pattern that looks neat. I remember seeing a video of someone typing on one and when that person hit a certain key the bottom diffuser looked like it was spinning. I’ll have to try and look for that video. The spinning effect is at the very end of the video. Here it is:

rowieYes the light on that one looks very bad , i would wish it is like the GANSS - but if not, i guess people will have to DIY and make it look propperly :x
This makes me sad, a little - well the lightning effect of the keys itself and the programability is awesome
But this little dots - well meh , either make it brighter or more milky / so it defuses more

YanboWuthx for informing us .. looks good a bit on the white side of things a haha i'm not used to white keycaps i'm more of a light beige like on my FC660C but thank god for the RGB (says the non RGB guy).. printing on the caps looks good from what i can see.
Thanks again for keeping us up to date. was getting worried because of the problems between you and the input club guys..
let's all make up. life is to short for anything else..
Look forward to getting my board.. As long as it gets in by december (living in The Netherlands) i'm happy to put it under the tree.

Excited to announce the K-Type Keyboard is entering the final stages of production! The units we’ve pulled off the production line look great. We have a couple more pictures to share in the discussion (including my cell phone candids).
The K-Type was a much more extensive project than anything we’ve done before and we are happy to be on track to meet our expected ship date of November 10. We can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on this keyboard!
