It's time for a new update thread! Here's a link to the old one. Sept 16th Update: Another shipment just arrived, we'll be unpacking and counting everything, and then shipping all outstanding (70, 90, and 110 pack) orders. Best guess is that all orders will be shipped by the end of next week (hopefully sooner!), which puts us about a week ahead of schedule. Sept 19th Update: All three sizes (70, 90, 110) are now "in-stock", and orders will ship within approx. 5 business days of your order. Any existing pre-orders will be shipping out before Sept 25th. Sept 23rd Update: Our warehouse operation is running smoothly and shipping is now approx. 3 business days (often one or two) after you order.

I've flagged these to our logistics team and they'll look into it. There's basically a group of two dozen orders from August (as you guys have noted) that haven't shipped for some reason.

If I ordered these September 27, when can I expect them to be shipped?

Just worried about these and I'm worried about possible QC issues (especially broken stem legs). Am I just going to have to open all my switches to confirm that they aren't broken? I don't plan on lubing until a bit later.

Any chance at a 20 piece pack for those of us that bought last time around, and realize we could use a few more?

Did you raise the price after reducing the quality of these switches and trade marking the name?

I think my switches might be defective. Some of my keys press twice or don't press at all if I press them down once. I've had this happen to multiple keys, and it gets resolved for a bit if I replace the switch with another one, but it's happening to many of my switches (ex. ctrl, w, i, s, a, etc) I'm using them on a Drop CTRL barebones board.
Some report stem leg issues. You should open up the defective ones. Report it to CS

I finally got mine after not waiting for too long. I ordered in mid August 2020 and it was shipped early September 2020. Took a little bit over 2 weeks for it to arrive though. The switches were arranged nicely and none of them fell out of the tray. I was pleasantly surprised none of the switch had any lube on them. The stems were clean too as far as I can see. I don't remember seeing any of them missing legs although one of them was a bit off in terms of tactility. The leaf/contact shape was out of shape. The bump shape seem to be missing or not as pronounced. As a result the stem is not generating the tactility of a normal tactile switch. I used Krytox 205g0 on the housing and stems (making sure the legs aren't lubed) and Krytox 105 on the springs. I bought switch films but the housing seems very tight and don't need it. The rest is standard mods like clipping, bandaid and keyboard foam. The end result is marvelous! I like these more than Halo Clears now. They are lighter and more tactile. Every keystroke feels like marbles. You can feel and hear every one of them. The pinging issue on my Alt is also gone. There is still some reverberation if I put it close to my ears but the high pitch ping is gone. Very happy with the product.

What's up with the customer support? My package is stuck at the local post office in my area for 3 weeks. I called DHL which can't give me the details over the phone, and was told to contact Drop to get the details. I've done so twice, and still no details. It's like support refuses to answer my question. I don't know what to do at this point.

Resolved: Drop support gave me a local tracking number after 4th email. Second call to DHL told me to contact Postnord, the local company, using that tracking number. Postnord messed up the taxation invoice, and sent me an email. After getting all information, this was solved in a matter of minutes. This was a mess! Postnord could have sent a reminder after 3 days. Drop could've helped out much more and on first contact. DHL could have told me to call postnord. Next time this happens I'll know what to do though.

I did not receive the switches, although when tracking it with DHL it says "Delivered" but I have no receipt in my mailbox or any note e.g. saying it was handed over to a neighbor - very frustrating. Contacting DHL now, that will probably take some weeks... shipment was from USA to Germany.

Thanks for the reply, it turned out a neighbor had the package, but i had no notice (neither online, per notice in the mailbox or anything) and dhl could not tell me where the package was. I seached for it for a week, even went to the nearby post office, then the neighbor left a post it on my door... again: online it just said delivered (not to a neighbor or anything)

Glad you got the switches! I did CS for about a year and I can say that we always get yelled at (not by you in this case) when something is marked "delivered" but not actually delivered. 80% of the time the problem is resolved in the coming days by the person saying "my roommate got it and didn't tell me", or like in your case, the neighbor had it. Another common one is that courier scanned it and left it on the truck, and then a few days later notices it in the corner of the truck and re-delivers it. It's really hard for our CS agents because the answer of "ask all your friends/neighbors etc and wait a couple weeks to see if it turns up" is such an unsatisfactory response, but ultimately the most effective! We always ultimately make sure that the customer ends up with the product, or their money back, but sometimes there's a bit of a journey to get to that destination.
