Has anyone successfully cleaned off all the lube without an ultrasonic cleaner? I don't really want to spend another $40 for one that is essentially going to get used once. I am trying isopropyl alcohol and it's a very slow and arduous process, especially in some of the nooks and crannies of the contact leaf.

messengersI bought a sonic cleaner, added hot water, and a couple drops of dawn, ran batches of 180 seconds, two times. Lube was only kind of cleaner off. Rag is slower but more efficient at removing the lube. I also just returned the sonic cleaner after I used it.

swirle13Thanks! There is a Youtube video about cleaning these MD Pandas and the guy found some sort of a q-tip that doesn't leave behind cotton fibers (I think intended for cleaning computer parts), I was going to give those a try.
