Anyone have issues with audio cutting in and out on these yet. This was a common problem with the 308 and requiring main board replacements. My left 305 woofer just started cutting in and out randomly.
pressganeyNo issues here; owned since late 2017 and used consistently for pro audio and audiophile listening. Other than the hiss I enjoy these immensely.
Come on MassDrop, I expect better. A week after the item is supposed to ship I get an email that my order is cancelled because the speaker is backordered... $20 credit is nice and all, but you lost me as a customer. I'd rather pay the extra $40 and get a pair of JBL Professional 305P MkII from Amazon in 2 days then deal with your bull again. Thanks but no thanks.
aramkYeah, I am now trying to decide between those JBL and the Tannoy Reveal 502s. I work on TV/Film stuff and need a decent set of client speakers for my home setup. My office has a pair of Reveal 601A that my clients seem to enjoy but they are a bit dated.
So I'm curious, is there some advantage to the Massdrop version? The LSR305 are currently available at Amazon for less than the drop price, the limited edition LSR305 and the new model LSR305p MK II are both available on Amazon for much less than the drop price.

Neblin7The Amazon Android app.
But, as Oica noted in an above reply, those prices were for a single speaker, not a pair.
I didn't realize this, as I am not accustomed to seeing powered bookshelf speakers sold individually.
Upon this realization, it becomes obvious that the Massdrop price is indeed a bargain.
