Just got these and set them up today. Sound amazing, but the power light on one of the pair was flickering out of the box and now is just off even though the speaker is turned on. It's functional but I'm kind of disappointed that it somehow got past the pairing phase like this.
Sorry to read that. It's quite the disappointment for sure. JBL always accents how much they torture-test their stuff. Yours somehow either missed Q&A or you won the bad LED lottery. It happens. Electronics can fail at any moment. Mine should cross the ocean today and be delivered on Monday. God-willing, they will be fine. But to attempt to make you feel a bit better, I used to be a helicopter repairer/crewchief in the Army. We could fly all day with NO issues at all, logging the entire 10 hours allowed, land safely, and do the 10 hour inspection. The next day the aircraft would throw a serious faulty sensor code on pre-flight inspection. We would have to ground it and find a replacement bird until we troubleshot it, replaced the faulty sensor, and ensured everything was good to go on the suddenly broke one. I know, CRAZY! I asked the old guys how it was possible and they just said, "Electronics. They can fail at any moment." That was not reassuring and still isn't.
I know that feeling working in the IT field. Anything can go at any time and sometimes you just hit the faulty part lottery.
