Wondering if it's worth getting these if I'm in Canada. It would come up to 247.61$ US with shipping for me so about 305$ Cnd. I did some research, and I can't find them for a better price, but I also saw a comment from someone here at Massdrop saying that JBL came out with an upgraded version, the JBL 305p MKII. Would it be better for me to just wait for the regular JBL LSR 305 price drop? I'm on the fence too has, just this month, I bought a Micca Origen G2 and the HD6XX, I only have so much money you know :P

BlaklyteTVThis is a great price for the pair. Also the MKII (newer version) will be $219 CAD (or more) each. Not sure what the advantage is of the MKIIs are over the LSR 30X but I live in Toronto and used a cross border agency to deal with the brokerage and duties and paid $28 CAD in addition to the $225 CAD. i paid $253CAD All in. These speakers sound amazing and are a steal for $253 CAD. Not sure if the MKIIs are worth the higher premium price tag.

BlaklyteTVI used a cross boarder pick-up company. They deal with brokerage fees and duties on your behalf. Then you pay them a fee. It’s based on weight. Purolator, UPS, fedex, DHL, etc... all have hidden fees for cross border shipments and they all vary. That‘s where they can ding you on high fees that are hidden in their “brokerage fees”.

BlaklyteTVgoogle “cross boarder pickup companies”. They give you a US address. Free shipping to US address. Then the company will ship it to their central pick up depot in Mississauga in Ont (they also have different depots for each prov. and you can save shipping fees or they can ship it to your home for additional shipping costs). I chose to pick it up. You pay $179.99 USD from massdrop. Then the cross border company will charge you a seperate fee for duties/customs/brokerage. In addition to their fee. Which is in CAD. Massdrop ships to a US address and you deal with the cross border company from there. This way you save much more money bc the extra fees are in CAD as opposed to USD

LImuelAwesome thanks, I did register with one, I just don't know how it works exactly. I guess I ask massdrop to ship to the address that the other website gave me but then how to they know that it's mine once they get the package.

BlaklyteTVthat is correct. massdrop will it to your US Address provided by the company, then from that US address you can ship it to your house. it's much cheaper.

BlaklyteTVNo don't click it man. Mine is in new Jersey right now. I guess if I click the hold at location button. They will hold it in New Jersey. Anyway, have you read about the hissing problems in reddit? They say it's normal and can be fixed by some equipments.

Should I exchange the PC38X for better headphones?

I bought the PC38X headphones FOR GAMING and they are great, but I have NO use for a Microphone since I don't do competitive gaming and I was wondering if there were better headphone options at a similar price without a headphone, where (presumably) more of the cost was put into making it sound better. I also find that my PC38X don't get quite as loud as I would like and I was wondering if a cheap amp like the iFi Go link would draw a little more volume out of my phones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BN6MM822?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I went with the PC38X since it was considered the best bang for buck headphones. Looking for a gaming/content audio setup

Hello! I'm looking for recommendations on audio setups. I'd be planning on using it mostly for gaming. Preferably I'd like a pair of large closed back headphones since I have a big head and jaw. I'd also like to hear myself through my mic with mic monitoring. As far as budget goes, I don't really have one. But under 600$ would be nice. I can go higher if needed. The audio setup would be connected to a high performance PC. Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

$10 Drop Coupon Email not sent?

Trying to buy some gear off Drop for the first time. I was told I would receive an email with a welcome to drop $10 off promo. I never received that email. Drop was able to send me emails for my login token and email for Password update. But for some reason the $10 off coupon was never sent to me.

Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.
