phoenixsongIf you have flexibility, re-positioning the speakers is a more subtle way to adjust the tonal balance that you hear. If they are too bright, try moving them a little closer to a room boundary. I found the best balance with 1-2 ft between the back of the speaker and the wall behind them.
dsnyder0cnnJust had a chance to listen to them again. I think it is not so much quantity as it is quality- the upper mids to lower treble region sounds a tad noisy/sibilant to me. Any closer to the wall and the bass will be uncomfortably boomy XD
dsnyder0cnnAlright, chanced upon a track with snares today. It is about the level; with -2dB in the treble the snares sound dulled and at neutral they are a bit bright/peaky
phoenixsongIf you're within 2 dB of well balanced sound, you're getting really close. Keep working placement, and don't forget to experiment with listening position and height as well. These are not $10k Wilson desktop speakers, but they can sound very satisfying with patient set up. Cheers.
