Should I use the provided TRS -> 2 TS cable? I'm going to use the speakers with a Komplete Audio 6 interface, which has a 1/4" headphone output, but also a main output which is a couple of 1/4" balanced outputs. Would I benefit using the main outputs, and if so, which set of cables should I buy? 2 sets of TRS-to-TRS vs TRS-to-XLR vs TS-toTS? I'm trying to get my head around the differences...

JohnathanVI'd prefer TRS --> XLR (balanced)

Bought it from taobao quite cheap and high quality cable. https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z0d.6639537.1997196601.103.1eee7484wCEde5&id=550551122371

JohnathanVIf you already have balanced outputs (meaning 3 wires on the cable per signal), you want to stay balanced. I agree with the mrbinary suggestion of 1/4" TRS to XLR (2 of those). You could also go 1/4" TRS to 1/4" TRS. In professional mixing circles, the TRS plug is a quick plug-in method and XLR is more something you will leave permanently plugged in, but ultimately either method works fine as long as all 3 wires have a good connection. XLR is less prone to slipping out.
There is an argument for short cable runs that going unbalanced lets you avoid a pair of op-amps that sum the balanced live wires (flipping polarity on one), which is why you'll see very pricey high-end home gear sometimes using unbalanced. So, balanced isn't always better than unbalanced if you have that choice. However, you can't bypass the op-amps these JBL speakers are using internally, so you might as well stay balanced.
