Product Description
Driven to make ultralight backpacking more accessible for everyone, we teamed up with Klymit to create a packable pillow with a great weight-to-performance ratio at an incredible value. The result is the Pillow X Ultra Light, made from 20d nylon in a green color that blends in nicely with wilderness surroundings Read More
This pillow is a bit noisy when moving around and when placed directly onto tent floor and in contact with your head. I find that if I wrap it in a shirt, it is much more comfortable to use, but makes the sliding around issue worse.
DrSchollThis design is a great improvement over just an inflated rounded rectangle. I made a "pillowcase/stuff sack" from two Tyvek mailing envelopes, adding an elastic cord drawstring on one end and two folded tabs, one on the center of a long side and the other on the opposite end. Right-side out, I have a stuff sack that holds my sleeping items. Inside out, I can us the tabs and another piece of elastic or shock cord to secure the pillow either around my pad or to the ridgeline inside my hammock. The "inside" is my clean side against my face. This sack might be large enough to hold the pillow, night items, (Klymit) air mattress, and maybe a light down blanket. Washing the Tyvek multiple times helps it to soften and get quieter.
Not unless you place it on top of a mouse.
Seriously though, no squeaking or other sounds whether on a cot, sleeping bag, or inflatable mattress.
Shape works better than expected.
It Depends. I prefer having a dedicated pillow, and this one is comfortable, lightweight, and does exactly what I want it to do.
If you want to save 55 grams (1.9 ounces), and don't mind either sleeping without a pillow or using something else as a makeshift pillow, then you're better off without one.
My pillow has develop a leak in the seam around the nozzle. It is not a hole from a punchure Dose the life time warranty cover this? How do I get a new one under warranty?
