Hey guys, I'm very tempted by this drop but I've a few concerns and I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me out with them.
I read somewhere that humidity can seriously screw with the electrostatics and I happen to live in a hot and humid country. Is it really that big an issue or is it exaggerated?
Do electrostatics attract dust that easily? and is it true that once dust gets on the membrane, it affects the sound and you'll have to send it in ?Thanks a lot!
geoff77I asked the same question a few weeks ago because I live in a very hot and humid climate. The response was that so long as you have air conditioning going, it's not a problem. Just don't take them out as condensation can happen.
As for dust, I'm not sure. It's a good question.
boolean-julienMost houses in the Southeast US have central A/C whose vents are not necessarily in the room you have the gear and are much, much quieter than window-mounted units.
