I'm in New Zealand which one is better 120 or 220v ? I read that US 220v is not the same as NZ 220v.
anyone know ? help plz :)
Thought this was a joke question initially.
Volts are an SI unit, they are the same everywhere.
If you plug a 120V device into a NZ wall socket, it's going to explode/catch fire/burn out.
It depends on your frequency and voltage of your receptacle. EU is usually 50hz and US is 60hz.
I think that frequency is only important for things with motors in them. This thing should be converting to DC, so there's no reliance on frequency.
