Have anyone used other external power supply than the stock one?
I am thinking of buying the iFi iPower X for the energizer.
I use it for Airist RDAC and it brought noticable impovement in clarity and detail retrieval.

mmatzenauerAfter reading that the original iFI iPower causes a hum, I went for the iPower X instead even though it's double the price. But the X version also causes a hum. The hum is only an issue when my MacBook Pro is running on battery and completely goes away when the MBP is plugged into a wall outlet.

BrahmsianThere is a hum even without the iPower X. Something I noticed a long time ago, my problem was I did not connected the Mac power extension with ground plug.
