Hey everyone, I recently bought the 220v variant of these headphones and am looking for a good method to convert them to my US Standard 120v walplug. Does anyone have some good suggestions for convertors or methods to do so? Thanks!

time11239834You need to purchase a 120 volt to 220 volt step up transformer which will give you the proper voltage you need to run your 220 volt Koss energizer out of a 120 volt power outlet.

time11239834A less cumbersome (and lower cost) option would be to replace the wall adapter. Check the specs printed on the wall adapter first. Some will say that they can accept 120 - 230 VAC. If yours does then you simply need a $5 adapter plug so that your adapter will physically fit into the 120V wall plug. If the wall adapter says that it needs 220V in, then replacing the wall adapter is still a less expensive and more compact solution than a step-up transformer. Both the 120V and 220V wall adapters output the same voltage. It's just the input voltage and prongs that fit into the wall that are different. Look for a 120V adapter that outputs 9VDC (1 amp, center positive). With a plug that fits the headphone amp. You can find these in some electronic stores or mail order from Amazon, Ebay, etc.
