Koss ESP95X vs. THX AAA 789+Sennheiser HD6XX
AAA789 is a terrific amplifier, however, as I posted somewhere else, even this amp can’t make HD6xx to match Koss ESP95X. AAA789+HD6xx combo now costs above $500 and that means ESP95(with it’s own energizer) is cheaper.
Mid and high details are excellent on ESP95X and beats HD6xx with wide(?) margin.
Sound stages for both headphones are good(draw?)
HD6xx edged ESP95X in bass reproduction capability though.
Except little bit weaker(or lighter) bass, Koss’s the definite winner for me.
