I already have a Stax energizer so my question is since 120V of 95x is sold out can I just buy 220V and then get adapter plug for Pro Stax and use this on my existing energizer ignoring the crummy energizer that comes with it.. I just don't know if 220V on the energizer changes the earphones in any way? Can anyone tell me for sure. Think this is probably a stupid question.

jothomajrThe only difference between the 120 and 220V versions is the wall transformer. Both energizers and headphones are the same. If your Stax headphone amp has a "Pro" plug, you can get an adapter and it will work fine with all Koss 95x headphones. Just be sure that the Stax amp plugs are labelled "Pro". If the Stax amp only has "normal" plugs it won't work.

jothomajrYou should be fine. (The "Stax" pro plugs are 5pin/580 bias. Stax normal plugs are 6pin/230 bias).

Yodastien220V energizer and headphones are identical except for 9V out power adapter. All you need is a 120V power adapter to change your 220 model to 110.
