Nice headphones ruined by an awful cable.
I bought two pairs of these intending to use them as an all-in-one audio solution to some VR headsets with a 4-pole audio jack.
The cables are far thinner and more fragile than the original KSC75s I had, which I thought I could ignore as it wouldn't be physically put on and removed constantly. They don't sound quite as good as the normal version, but the real flaw for my use case is the microphone. To be honest, the awful cables ruined the mic completely. All headphone audio will bleed back into the microphone through the wires, which other people can hear. People will hear their own voices and the environmental audio through my microphone. Some people may not be able to notice it happening with theirs, but if you're set up to monitor your own voice with a delay it's very loud and obvious. I've tested the same setup with many 4-pole earbud style headsets and these KSC75x are the ONLY ones to produce this behavior. So either the cables are FAR too thin with no shielding allowing signals to bleed into one another, or there is a design flaw at the button/mic module that produces the same effect.
Would not recommend to a friend.
