Flexibility, Performance, Looks
Sound:  Clear & balanced, the dynamic drivers have a titanium coating that adds rigidity and reduces distortion.

Fit:  No headband, doesn’t need to be stuck into your ear, and the earclip is silicone rubber with a metal wire that can be bent to suit your own use (with or without glasses, adjust clamp or to fit your ear). Looks:  Our aim was to create a more modern and sleek look, while still retaining the feel and heritage of the original.

Recognized Modding Platform Mods are amazing. They’re a compliment from the community, saying they love the product and care enough that they want to invest time personalizing the product. Over the years, people have experimented with: -Different foam thickness or adding a gasket for spacing to dial in bass -“Coin-modding” the foam by cutting a $0.25 coin-sized hole into the pads -Removing the grills protecting the driver (be careful not to push on the driver if you try this one) -“Kramer Modding”, named after a community member who removed the grill and drilled (9) holes plus increased (4) more in order to add even more treble extension.

I wish massdrop would make them $25-$30 but with really good detachable cables tat will last under any condition (also some padding for the top of the ear hook wire , i say no microphone needed but some phones do not recognize headphones unless they have an microphone) #ZReviews https://youtu.be/gb3w3_Jbpkc

Just opened mine up and the right ear hook fell off right on my ear :/ I've had these before just not mass drop as a gift from my uncle when I was really young. They lasted me yearrrrs. So don't not buy these just because I simply got a defective unit (hopefully) I just wanted to share my experience!

What is the chance we could get these with a behind the head “headband” and a boom mic? Would anyone else want such a thing?

These sound fricken amazing, like $150 headphones. But please, for the love of god, give them a better connector. These deserve a connection to the earphone that doesn't feel like it will break at the first yank. Maybe an MMCX connector, just something other that what it has. I'd happily pay $5 or even $10 more for a better cable/connector.

My ksc75x was fine yesterday but today, when i used it, everything was off. The vocal was quiet. The pause button can only pause and then it will adjust the sound louder.

IMO, the KSC-75s have the edge over the Porta Pros in sound. Porta Pros sound similar, but have a boosted and muddy bass presence the KSC-75s don’t have.

You can purchase them by clicking the "buy" button and completing the check out process. Why do you need to get in contact with Massdrop customer service?

He might possibly live in an area that Massdrop doesn’t ship to, or this drop specifically doesn’t ship to. There could be other reasons too, but this would be my guess.

For everyone who ask for MMCX - get real, that's ridiculous! It's earclips, don't you get it ? Feel free to solder there full scale copper braided XLR -It's your business after the purchase.

SPC = Silver Plated Copper, right? I have an all-silver HD 800 cable terminated in 4.4mm from Wireworld, I use it with my Sennheiser HDV 820 amp. I’d like an SPC cable for my HD 650 too, but less expensive than the admittedly extravagant cable I bought for my HD 800. Suggestions?

No specific brands needed, just look through Aliexpress for better quality SPC cables, u'll be spoilt for choices. Also the fun part of modding is to try different cables to find something to ur taste, something in the price range of $20-$30 would suffice.

If only someone would make 45mm velour earpads with 30mm openings and 3-4mm thick for KSC75 and Portapro. I believe these would be a killer upgrade for these headphones. ;)

These things are incredible. Sound easily like they'd be worth $100+. I recommend using them with an amp that has a low output impedance (under 6 ohms) so as not to affect the frequency response and make them sound muddy. Job well done Koss and I love the black look from Massdrop. Edit: Everyone seems to complain about the cable, I for one like the skinny and light cable. I think if it was heavier it might pull down on you ears too much.

Nice buy, arrived 2 days ago. Initial impressions are positive. Sounds great; a little brighter or deeper depending on just how they're sitting. Would buy again. Although the cable does appear thin it looks and feels very sturdy (not an ultimate problem as I'll likely sleeve it eventually). Owns: DT770 80ohm, Marley Buds Previously owned: Koss Portapro, Meelectronics M6 Pro, Audio Technica ATH-ANC9, TurtleBeach Z6A

Loved the original ksc75's by Koss, so i thought i'd like to have an extra pair with build in mic and button-control for usage with my Android phone. However, there seems to be a problem with google voice-command randomly activating whenever i use my set of ksc75x's, causing it to pause the music (or significantly lower the volume) for 5 seconds. My pair might be a one off defect pair; it worked fine the first few weeks. I took good care of it in a dedicated pouch, but i fear the weakness in the cable may have caused this to start occuring. this being said, i'm still happy i bought them, because you can never have too many pairs of ksc75's, sadly, i can only use these on my desktop and other mobile players now, so the extra funcionality is voided. Wouldn't buy again, the cable is shite, i'll stick to the uglier, older, and more reliable brother, ksc75. Edit: new software updates on my phone seem to have solved the problme, cable still sucks

Please make a second edition with removable cable like IEM. Call it the KSC75X-RC or MkII or something. Adding $10 or $15 to the prices and this will be the best thing money can buy on Massdrop.

Sounds good. However, the cable is flimsy at best. If you can protect the cable or replace is once it breaks you'll enjoy the sound. Massdrop, please add mmcx connectors or change to a sturdy cable. Note: It sounds a little better when EQ'ed with AutoEq.

So I'm not sure if it is just me but... had to take off my glasses to get the fit perfectly. Not a real complaint cause that sound tho.... Unfortunately I will have to agree with all the Zeos followers on the detachable cable part and some sort of balanced support would also be nice.

Can anyone tell me what type of 3.5mm connector the KSC75X has, whether it’s CTIA or OMTP? Didn’t see it listed anywhere and hope I didn’t just overlook it. If it’s CTIA, then these could potentially be an option as a headset for Xbox One/PS4, assuming one doesnt care too much how good the mic quality is and just wants a cheap option for good-sounding audio in console gaming with just the utility of a chat mic.

They are performing pretty good comparing to 6xx, similar in a way. Midrange is clear and slightly forward and the treble is smooth and relaxed, no anoying peaks. The Seinn has better deeper extended bass of course but for vocals and instrumental music Koss hold its own.

I just got the and have been lightly using them for a few weeks. The cable for the right side is already cutting in an out. Other than that they have been great. Can you guys add a better cable or an mmcx connector? I will try to do it(add mmcx connectors) on my own to save these but if I fail I probably won't buy another set unless they have a better cable/mmcx/detachable cable.
