FrogmeatThe same one as shown in Stumpy's screenshot, the Parts Express headband mod. Google it. A more, pricey option is grabbing one from either the Koss SportaPro or PortaPro, but I think the Parts Express one is more lightweight.
FrogmeatNo problem! I think if you're not serious about headphones, this will get you 90% of the way to audio bliss. By serious, I mean not shelling out hundreds of dollars on headphones :)
Stumpylord have mercy on my eyes, those things are ugly as sin. but i can bet they sound as good as porta pro's hence the effort to mod them, right? preach it brother/sister!
StumpyBlasphemy! The Holy KSC75 needs no mods for comfort, convenience, portability or sound. Literally the only thing that could be improved about them were the looks, and that's what the Massdrop version is doing (at least I hope they didn't mess with the driver, thinking they could improve the sound).
abm0Oops, I may have remembered the Kramer mod wrong - it actually only boosts the weak upper treble and compensates for the loss of bass by switching to thicker pads that move the driver away from the ear. At least according to the DIYAH measurements, where it looks like a net improvement and not a trade-off like I thought. So there might be some actual substance to all that buzz about the Kramer mod after all.
Can't wait for the Massdrop X version.
