Is it possible to transplant the driver into a Porta Pro?

BuckbrickYes. The sound signature is going to change slightly.

BuckbrickYeah, they're practically modular. If Massdrop hasn't changed the design of the attachment, you can just pop the driver off the ear clip and pop it onto the Porta Pro headband. Takes less than a minute. I've done it. The KSC75 has a *slightly* crisper and brighter sound than the Porta Pros. That signature satisfying bass is still there. I enjoy them both equally. (There's nothing about moving the drivers onto the headband that changes it. I think Janda just means KSC75s don't sound exactly the same as Porta Pros.)

MVDudeThanks! I hate IEMs with cables looping over the ear and clip-on earphones. It’s great these can pop into a Porta Pro headband.

BuckbrickOk. Got a pair to pop onto my Porta Pro band. I’m wondering if I should get another. But my Porta pros has lasted for quite a while.
Koss has beefed up the cable (y-split to jack) and added a spring to jack on the Porta Pro X which is nice. But the L and R wires are still that crappy thin affair. They should beef that up instead of having their claims dept handling warranty replacements.
