I like how people are discussing burn-in, when it's been proven that 'burn-in' is just your own mind's acclimatization to the sound. If you like these at first listen, you'll like them forever- if you don't, you probably won't care to listen to these for 50+ hours to convince yourself that you like them.

MKiroI agree with your burn-in sentiment but not so much the last bit. Depending on your frame of reference and very recent experience with sound signatures, your expectations and perception of sound can be skewed. Whenever I try new gear, I spend as long as I can to get used to the new signature so I can properly analyze it. I've had some headphones leave an awful first impression but end up being one of my favorites, as well as the other way around. Not a big advocate of physical burn-in but mental "burn-in" seems very real in my experience, which is also what I attribute to most people claiming physical burn-in exists.
