So I have to chime in and say that I owned a pair of Koss Porta Pro 2's in college at UCSC, and they were my audio bread and butter. They were hella (see... bits of Nor-Cal stuck with me) comfortable and sounded great for the price (I think I had picked them up for just under $30). They are light, fit snugly, and don't fall off your head if you have to do a quick whip-around snapchat pose or are cycling to class. The fact that these look to be the same exact build design with a new mic and such (modern trimmings) just makes me want to grab a pair (I just don't have a need at the moment -- my Bose SoundTrue's have been keeping my portable audio needs happy for the last three years).
The only grief I ever got from the Koss Porta Pro's may actually be a big one for would be purchasers -- especially for women or dudes with longer hair (I had a curly afro in college, so this became a bit of an issue for me):
The plastic speaker housings slide up and down a central metal head band, so you can adjust your fit. It's great... except if you have longer hair, there is a big propensity of it getting caught / pinched where the metal band and the plastic housings meet. Even if you don't adjust the fit when you are wearing them, this still somehow seemed to happen to me, and pretty frequently.
So, buy with confidence knowing that they are amazing for the price: sound-wise and build-quality-wise. Just be aware that you might lose a few hairs every once in a while. Don't worry though. They grow back.
