I had a set of these back when dinosaurs still roamed the planet, and loved them then. I remember feeling like they were on the pricey side, back then. Here now, all these years later, I still have a set. Two actually - one set that I've had for a long time but lost them. I liked the sound enough to go replace them, and of course that meant that I found the old ones once the new ones were in hand.
I still enjoy the sound quality - open headphones are my favorite type, and these are crazy good for as inexpensive as they are. I wear these mostly at the gym or when I'm walking or cycling, so I can hear everything around me.
They are kind of retro-homely, no doubt. But I'm convinced that it's worth retro-homely to be able to adjust the tension and keep them on.
