Got these in the post yesterday, Out of the box they are comfortable, easy to adjust, and extremely lightweight. The physical design doesn't really seem to have any shortcomings besides the Y cable, Which, due to the collapsing nature of the headphones has lead to it becoming wrapped around my neck 2 of the 5 times I've taken them off since I received them, granted, this is completely user error.
The speakers have great sound reproduction, particularly for such a lightweight design at it's price, But I am used to very flat headphones, and I find the low-end very overpowering, as if bass-boosted. Even setting low frequencies to minimal in EQ, (usually set to either "jazz" with reduced bass or 'flat', the bass was still extremely prominent. Which unfortunately made the highs in the death metal beats I usually rock out to sound slightly washed out, all instruments being present and accounted for, but seemingly playing second fiddle to the kick drum, although this can also make for killer guitar rhythym passages and breakdowns if you don't mind the less prominent leads (which I do)
On another not regarding physical design, after an hour of listening to music (and messing with Bass EQ) and two hours using these to play Switch, I found they never grew uncomfortable or even hot (and its Summer here) so these are very easy to wear for prolonged periods.
I haven't had a truly significant amount of time with these yet, these are just my initial opinions.
They are definitely worth the super low price massdrop are asking, and they work great with smartphones due to the inline mic and button functionality.

John_McCormickAre they too snug or is it the audio? I find with some cheaper ear-buds (like the freebies that ship with low-mid range DAPs) give me a headache easily. But I slept with the Porta-Pros on all last night and didn't find them at all fatiguing.
I do however find the 'comfort' slider likes to fall back to the 'firm' position easily. Fortunately I don't have a large head, but I can see how this could be an issue.

Rockman-20XXI agree.. the bass is too much, and considering it's not a very good representation of the lower frequencies it kind is a little annoying and fatiguing. I had more fun listening to these with my DAC off on the LgV20 for less fatigue. I think I like the kph better

Rockman-20XXHere's what I think is responsible for the tuning of the Porta Pros (this is just a theory). You have to remember that these were introduced at a time when digital music was taking off (I got my first pair in 86), and the recordings of the day (80's music) were exceptionally bright thanks to new technologies (digital recording, Dolby Noise Reduction, etc) that allowed it to be recorded that way without distorting. The pop music of the time was also lean on bass, especially when compared to today. Toss in portable players with their generally bright amps and Koss' design intentions start to become clearer. Back then the Porta Pros did a wonderful job of equalizing the sound by boosting the bass and calming the highs. At least that's what I think they had in mind. It would be awesome if Koss introduced a re-tuned version that worked better with today's recording trends and all of the older re-mastered recordings. As for comfort, I suggest you wear them just a bit more forward and up so they aren't pressing on the helix and lobule of the outer ear.
