Is the lockbar on the oppsite side for the left-handed version? From the description it sounds like it's on the same side as the right-handed version.

st_burtYour reading of the description is correct. To be clear, this is not a "left-handed" version, rather it is a "left-hand carry" option - the only difference is which side the clip is mounted on.

JonasHeinemanThat seems sort of pointless if you aren't going to go all the way and make a fully left handed version.

DellwolfWe did this in response to specific member requests for reversible clips or left-hand carry. The reality of manufacturing is that moving a clip is a lot more feasibly than making a completely different version. Making a lefty version of every knife, even if it was viable from an economics and manufacturing standpoint, effectively doubles the number of individual items we would have to order - this adds a significant amount of cost and complexity to every model. As the community grows, it may become feasible for more models. Hope this makes sense, thanks for your patience and understanding.

JonasHeineman"We did this in response to specific member requests for reversible clips or left-hand carry." For what knives? So far, every Ferrum Forge x Massdrop collaboration has had a reversible clip. I've been a fan of the stuff you guys have been doing for a while now, but this feels a bit like "marketing wank". The design of this knife appears like it could easily accept a reversible clip. So, charging $5 more to have the clip on the show side makes it seem like Massdrop providing a "solution" to a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place.
