I can only think of one thing when I look at this. The spyderco slysz bowie!
How would this compare against it, cutting and slicing performance?

killerloopI had the exact same thought. Haven't compared yet. They likely cut similarly. The Bowie is slightly thicker at the top and slightly taller. Will have to measure - this may be thinner behind the edge. This is an excellent cutting knife. I think taller blades slice better, so likely advantage to the Bowie.
Despite being smaller the Keen is it's actually heavier than the Sylsz Bowie because it doesn't have the milling in the liners. Bowie is better in the hand, this one pockets perhaps a little better. This is a nice knife, however the Bowie is much better all the way around. For the price, this one is great.
