To me, they sound ok. I've had hours of conversations without anyone complaining or asking me to repeat myself. I even used them in a meeting.

Idsd black label with their iem-match enabled. Or one of the fiio lineup. It's easy to drive to adding a lot of power is just going to introduce something that wasnt there into the sound

Yes.
I had to replace mine as the single ended, 3.5mm, 4 pin phone jack didn't work with my Ibasso DX120 DAP.
DX120 has ground pickup on the ring closest to the base of the jack, stock cable is 3rd ring, which wasn't making contact : /
The touch/feel of the Drop cable is very rough has lots of bend memory from coiling. My replacement (hifiear) from amazon has a nice soft touch silicone and is generally better quality.

They are mmcx connectors. They will detatch but the connector can degrade very quickly with frequeny connections and disconnections.

nicholas_taylorThat is correct. Detachable, but really only if you need to replace it - it wouldn’t be a good idea to make a habit of it.

This is a little demanding iem. it works with cell phones but the sound level isn't that great
