Great soundstage, perfect cable, paint not chipping. I am using these with apple dongle most of time at 50% volume so you don’t need an amp for these.
Sound is neutral, it was boring at first to me. But after while I get used to it and these are my favorite iems. Especially for long listening sessions because their sound signature is not fatiguing to my ears. Passive sound isolation is A+.
For the price of theses IEMs I can't complain. Solid build and great sound quality for the price. The braided cable is built to last as well. Very few IEMs in this price range compete!
As a degenerate power metal fan, my only complaint is that these are a little shy with bass compared to other earbuds I've had. I still give them five stars, as they do fantastically at everything else, and the bass quality wouldn't be enough to make me blink about buying them again. They come with all sorts of different earbuds, but the default ones they shipped with are too good to make me bother to try out all the different earbuds. These are my first real audiophile IEMs - or listening device in general - and I'm quite pleased. They insulate noise excellently, and feel fantastic.
So I will be comparing this to my 7hz SalNote zeros and my hyperX cloud 2s.
Pros:
Great soundstage
Great Imaging
Good Bass without being Muddy
All metal in the IEM
Cons:
At MSRP (not on sale) It's not really worth it
Great Detail but I feel there is no soul in the audio
In my option, not very comfortable
Without a good AMP/DAC can't get all of the potential (a bit harder to drive)
At the time of writing it cost 80$ and I think you can get better stuff these days however if they are under 50$ I would snatch these
Versatile with respect to the ear - cable down, cable over the ear, etc… sound quality is good for the walk to work. Plenty of ear tips included. Cable to ear piece connection is pretty meh. All in all, not terrible for the price.
I had this IEM for more than 2 years. This is the longest IEM that I have owned, and it is still going. Most other IEMs from $20-$120 did not last more than 18 months. Only two issues: 1. the paint does chip off as others have mentioned, 2. the plastic ear pieces keep coming off because I do use it often. But, overall, I am satisfied with the product.
