Which headphones of Drop's currently available?
I have some rewards points to burn but there's no obviously good options on Drop right now for headphones Contenders Ultrasone - maybe? I don't own any Ultrasones, so curious. Looks like garbage travel headphone which could be useful also. Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro. - Maybe? I have the DT 880 Good price point, really uncomfortable headphones but could be interesting to try the upgraded version. E-MU - strong contender but $400 is a bad price point for what it is. Which of the above would you choose and why? Nothing else on Drop is relevant to my interests, because Already own 6xx 820 800 s Ether cx Garbage / Consumer grade Meze 99 - garbage bass canons, hard pass No gaming headphones obviously Sennheiser wireless - no to wireless/bluetooth Hifiman - I have 2 of drop hifimans and they make really bad cheap shit on Drop, hard pass on HE-R7DX Aeon - I own the closed, Drop refuses to address #padgate so no reason to buy open Beyerdynamic 177x - wireless, nope Too similar 8x / 560s...

Used mostly with my Pixel 1 and Desktop, ie, with no external DAC/Amps, and they're really nice. The sound signature isn't as... Warm? I guess, as the TS02s, but everything is clear and sounds good. Subjectively, I'd say the IE80s sound a bit better to my ears, but I am using different ear tips between the two.
I do feel that I get more depth to the sound with the Single Flange Silicone Tips compared to the Comply Tips on my IE80s. Though, the sound stage is pretty large and I have absolutely zero complaints at the price point. With the Pixel and my Desktop (ASUS Prime X370 Pro for anyone looking for specs on that), the sound is comparable, to the much higher cost Sennheiser IE80 (currently $200 USD if memory serves). Definitely worth it IMO.
The detachable cables are also nice if you have pets who like to chew random cables in your living space, and I do appreciate the built-in 1-button Mic, which is miles more convenient than the IE80 and their lack of such a feature from the factory. However, the cable is a bit long in my opinion, but that's very admittedly a personal nitpick and should in NO WAY detract from the quality of these IEMs. I'm just a short guy, and sometimes they catch on my knees when I bend down at work or whatever.
These are pretty great IEMs especially for the price and I would recommend them to anyone who is just looking for a pair of IEMs with high quality sound signature, decent noise isolation, and a spectacular feature set.
