I just recently received a pair of Pinnacle PX, and the audio is muffled when plugged into my Schiit Fulla 2. In order for it to sound normal, I have to hold down the inline remote button. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Buy a better 1/4" adapter. The one that came with my HD 6XX works great with the earbuds that have remote controls on them. So probably pick up the 1/4" sennheiser adapter.

It could be because the dac/amp doesnt recognize the inline remote as an audio source , so theres probably interference with the source. Just get an mmcx cable without an inline remote

Dude, this might be late, but I got my Magni 3 today and when I first plugged in the PX with the mic cable and a 1/8' to 1/4' adapter I had, it sounded very distant as it was playing in another room. Then I read the note in the Magni user manual saying: "Some headphones that use TRRS plugs (typically ones with microphones, designed for use with smartphones) may have problems with some 1/8' to 1/4' headphone adapters - use a specific TRRS-TRS adapter in this case". I didn't have any other adapters, but luckily I had ordered the Pinnacles with the extra cable without an inline remote. You can get the cable from MEE Audio website. Or maybe the right adapter will solve the issue as the manual says and as the people above had suggested.
