I've been looking for a 2nd pair of headphones to my Hd6xx, that I love.. I want something quality in the $200 or under range that offers a "different" sound. These are promising. Would these be a nice compliment to the HDs that would give a diverse sound from those? Warm sound and closed back sure sounds like it would give me something to swap out with the Senns.

PandoI have the 99 Classics and the HD6xx and they're the perfect compliment. A great "flavor" headphone, a great slam of bass without it muddying the rest of the sound. Easy to drive and look fly as hell, these are my go-to phones when traveling or listening to heavier electronic music
This is a really solid deal for an incredible pair of cans

PandoSeriously a perfect complement. If I was forced to limit myself to 2 headphones, and this would be it Well the HD600 and the 99Classics might be slightly better, but that's nitpicking.

matheesSame here...I have both and I LOVE both! They represent my favorite open and closed headphones respectively. And I've owned a lot of headphones.
