They sound great, but the ear cushions come off, and you can't get them back on!
Very nice sound, very comfortable to wear, nice cable. The ear cushion design makes it impossible to put them back on if they slip off while you fall asleep. I don't know what to do about that. I would not recommend these for use in bed.

WorthyPsychiatristWhy would you buy these to use in bed???? Should've known that just by looking at them. Get a pair of IEMs for bed - Not this :\

WorthyPsychiatristget a set of Sound Magic PL50 iem's for in bed, get some tips that will fit(anything that fits etymotic will work, but if you can get sony hybrid tips or good clones, those are the best with these) you can sleep in them, wake up, and go to show and..oh shit i have the iems still on.... oops.. they are that comfy, and the sounds better then these.. very good for music and audio books... (by default they are mid centric but, if you use a standard V eq setting, they become almost perfectly natural/flat in many cases... very good value...i love mine... genuinely cried when my first set died after 7 years of daily use..when i saw them come up in a drop..i grabbed another set...they are the only thing i will wear to bed... even the porta pros arent as easy to wear in bed... and they are pretty easy to wear in bed if you need something thats not in ear. )
UnaSalusVictusThank you for the recommendations. I find that no matter how hard I try, I just cannot stand something sitting in my ear. I did like these headsets in terms of their sound. I generally sleep on my back, so the extra hardware on the head isn't an issue. I usually do buy about one pair of headsets every couple years, so I guess I do wear them out. Presently am using Sennheiser HD 800 set, and they are holding up exceptionally well. I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to make suggestions, and will look at the porta pros that you mentioned. Be well!

WorthyPsychiatristi cant stand sets with a wide nozzle, its just uncomfortable... my ear doc actually widened one of my ear cannals because it was so damn narrow it made it hard for him to even look at the ear drum using the scope(and he was doing surgery on it anyway), the porta pros are actually very good, if you want bluetooth dont buy their bluetooth version, get the normal ones and buy a Radsone ES100, they are a great combo, i have them on now getting ready to take my scooter a mile to the store and back :) for in ears, i have quite a few sets, gave away all the ones that have too wide a nozel to be comfortable, or cant be fitted with tips that i find comfortable, mostly to friends who LOVE them.... because they got wide or at least...average cannels... anyway yes i understand the dislike of in ears....i tried them early on, hated how they felt, and swore them off... to this day...if i could get the old sony folding sport phones that sit in the ear but not ear cannel i would buy a set, but, the only ones you will spot are way over priced... for something that was 20bucks or less (sales) in the early late 90's-early 2k's.... the only way i came to like in ears was when a buddy sent me a set as a gift that, were narrow nozzle and he included so many different tips... including some i cannot find the equal of to this day... they were very soft smooth silicon, with a gel filling around the nozzle... so easy to forget they were in... though their sound quality was better then average thats so easy...well....the number of people i see use dollar tree in ears makes me want to cry..... if you ever do decide to try in ears again, just make sure to try small nozel versions, with a decent selection of tips, a good fit can take trying many tips with some sets..for me, i will say pl50 with sony hybrid style tips, or etymotic research tri flange with the largest flange removed give best fit of all the audiophile grade sets i have tried... (i own hf5, es3xr, and a couple other etymotic sets(2 were gifts), if you ever do try ety, any modern set will use the same tips afik, and some come with a very wide selection of tips, as well, you can trade any set you have in, for a decent discount(sometimes it gets you below amazon sale pricesor drop prices by a good bit) , i traded in a set of hf5 that a dog chewed on, they gave me a discount large enough i could get the er3xr for about the retail/msrp of the hf5 was(like 20bucks more or less), anyway, i do understand...took me a good while to find some i could stand, let alone liked... the porta pros though... i use them constantly... though its cold enough im gonna use my dt770....went out to check and...its a bit chilly... :)
