I'm sure you're all eager to hear what's going on with the top. I received a note from Massdrop and asked them to share as well, but I haven't seen any of them post, so I'm taking it upon myself to do so. :) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From John (last week): Production units have long been completed and ready to pack out. In an unfortunate case of timing, our packaging vendor was flooded during the big typhoon last week (pretty bad for a shop that makes nothing but paper products) before they could deliver the round boxes. This puts us at shipping the production units close to the end of next week (hopefully). We will continue to monitor the situation and try to bring in the ship date. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So sounds like there's a possibility that the tops will not ship to all of us (did I mention I ordered some and are eagerly awaiting them too? ) on the targeted date due to the flooding of the box factory (my read is that they're waiting on boxes so they can pack them up then ship to us).
But here's signs of progress - al the tops packed in trays, foam packing for the top and the lenses. Once boxes arrive I hope it's a quick turn around to pack and ship all the units!
