Mechanical Keyboard Sound Isn't That Simple
Figure 1: I couldn't think of a more literal way to represent this article if I tried... Even as the output from these content creators has waned in recent months, their collective impact and legacy on the keyboard hobby is rather firmly etched in the history books. As a result of all of their sound tests, build logs, and opinion videos, the message is clear to any new person joining the hobby: mechanical keyboards are all about the sound. by the way, i made a race3 in photoshop (with slightly shoddy alignment, but i had to resize some of the kits compared to each other and didn't want to break out a million "rulers" in the software :p) in case someone else wants to visualise that more concretely.
also, has there been any resolution to mito saying the f-row kit seems a bit pricey? (i mean i'm inclined to agree, it uses half the moulds from the tkl kit, but costs twice as much) but either way, i decided if i'm already spending over $100 on something for the aesthetics that i shouldn't half-ass the look if alternating f-row colours is so much more the look i want. just..... if i end up spending $10 or $15 less than i'm expecting to now, i'd be even happier! haha
the new run of the galaxy class set (the first officially licensed one) next month is calling me too.... but then, i've had basically a year pass me by without sets grabbing me like this and galaxy have, it's not my fault if two that really call to me come along in two months, right? right? >.> i mean if these are the only two i buy in the next like... year or even more... then my average keyset per month is like... 16% of a set?
(plus a bunch of my clothes are this black&teal colourscheme, my steelseries sensei's lights are cyan, so's my terminal emulator... it's a perfect fit for my stuff!
