How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".

Have re-installed a totally FRESH Operating System with NO anti-virus apps whatsoever and sure enough your DISGUSTING website still shows me this BRIGHT RED error box;
"There was an error processing your payment. Please check the information entered and try again. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at Massdrop Support."
Time and time again that very same message over and over again, it's like Ground Hog Day only this time I am left with no help from you lot at all. Just the usual 'way-above-my-pay-grade' responses Also Microsoft is getting sick of me contacting them about this whole mess.
This is a NEVER ending amount of misery here just not worth it anymore. I will never again re-install my operating system again for you lot here on MassDrop, when this is all up to you not me to solve this.
Also it means that from now on I am forced to get my Key-sets elsewhere, shame really since obviously you lot don't care whatsoever. Maybe this is the REAL MD that is showing when it gets complicated everyone ducks for cover and leaves their former customers in the lurch.
Cards act up on the internet, it sucks but it happens; could be on your bank's end, could be something else entirely, I won't pretend to know the intricacies. For example I had my payments get declined on Originative like 3 times when trying to purchase DSA Hyperfuse and it even got caught in the automatic scam detection and my debit card got locked because of it. Had to have it replaced, nightmare.
All in all, it's just so hard to pin point the problem. As said I'm not playing devil's advocate here, I just think a fairer approach might be more appropriate since we don't really ever know what triggers these things to happen. It sucks and I absolutely understand and have shared your frustration in the past, though.
Hope it works out for you one way or another!
In the event that you didn't try that already, check with your bank.
The weird thing here is that all of my Paypal settings plus payment purchases, hasn't been affected when dealing/paying with Ebay, PCCG, Mwave, Bhiner, House, Zanui, The Iconic and Amazon just this week.
I dropped MasterCard usage last year due to problems that eventuated so no problems there.
The ONLY place where I am stopped from paying is this place. Hence all problem roads leads to MassDrop.
All the younger crowd have no problems about using so-called smart phones 24/7 but I need a place to sit down to make my purchases instead of running around on the streets doing those things.
I don't think that is how it should be from now on because before the last four months their website worked as intended for me but know it's a complete disaster. I know they did this to make their website more compatible with mobiles but what about us, the PC users?
I've got another 25 days to see if MassDrop will provide any clues or help to sort this out. I'm not too confident since I have been having problems with their website changes for the last 4 months and nothing helped.
It's maybe time to cut me loose hence maybe this would be the perfect time to offload one of their most critical customers.
Now I know how poor Trumpie feels when everyone is against you and no one (MD) will offer any help at all ; (
I have a suspicion that if the combination is too old then there is an SSL certificate trust issue at work here.
One of my minions decided he would rather have another motherboard with an 1800x cpu so he lost out on this one.
Have installed Windows 10 (ghastly horror) and am using either Edge or Firefox 64bit v56.0.2.
Bitcoin is a lot like direct deposit, absolutely no security for the buyer here.
It's ONLY through Paypal that I and everyone else gets solid safety, when it comes to buying anything online these days.
sad to read about your problems. One of my computers is running Windows 10 with latest Firefox 64bit too, and Firefox doesn't behave well like it used to do all those years. Running a virtual machine with Linux and a latest Firefox on the same pc works like a charme. Before you abandon MD you could head over to Distrowatch.com and look for a Linux Distribution you may like, burn a Live CD/DVD and check out if its working, no installation needed, and hopefully get happy again.
Best wishes to you Down Under!
But I also have this very same problem using both the old IE and the latest Edge browser. Both give me that exact same error.
Again it looks like MassDrop has done something to their website with introducing new scripts or whatnot that cripples it's use elsewhere.
I would like to see the head website techie paid to run this venture, wondering how many missed sales will occur this month since he introduced the changes? Trust me it's a bloke here so don't get all antsy because only males are that arrogant to think their new scripts and certificates will make it better for MassDrop ; )
Like politicians, deluding themselves into thinking that everything they've done is ALL good.
If you do, then you've got nothing to be proud of here.... your work sux and that's as simple as I could put it.
Put back the old scripts and let us go back to buying stuff like we have been, four months ago.
Thousands of other people have bought things in this drop, so the problem is with your combination of things, not with Massdrop. Check with your bank and with PayPal.
Understand your ignorance here and lack of empathy but this has been going on for FOUR months, which I have already posted.
They have changed the scripts and added untested certificates, that is where the problem lays at their feet. I have updated my operating system, browsers, anti-viral apps and nothing has changed - again posted earlier.
Love that you think thousands bought their gear already, imagine the thousands who can't due to this current problem ?
I did read the entire thread before posting, and it doesn't change what I said. You need to be working through these issues with customer support.
But regardless, if you ARE seeing the ssl warnings you describe, it would be a very clear indicator that your machine or your network have been corrupted or compromised. If you are seeing an invalid certificare, it’s being injected downstream or validation itself is failing. Either your machine is for some reason blocking the CA so the root authority can’t be validated and/or Your certificate store is corrupted, or someone is stealing all your data with a man in the middle atrack. SSL happens before routing, it would be obscenely hard for massdrop to present you with a different certificate and they would have no reason to do so.
Can you screenshot the error?
This is *the* shittiest Massdrop thread I've ever seen.
My gut was that it was what Amnesia1187 describes above (but far better than I tried to describe). Now I'm just wondering if there is an unsubscribe button.
Reads like a middle-aged PC pseudo-expert from the 90s. It's really nostalgic. Adds a lot to my retro Laser immersion. lol.
This is why FF is becoming more and more difficult, with useless extras not needed or interferes with buying on the net.
Just this whole mess with MassDrop threw me for a six, didn't know what the problems were until four months ago when Firefox started acting badly on their website. It's only on MD's website and no where else.
Even all the Taobao sellers sites I visit don't kick up a fuss unlike visiting MassDrop for some strange reason.
It's just lack of time and of course stubbornness in staying with my current choice, but it's been a learning experience as FF decides to put in unwanted settings/features. If you have an appropriate anti-viral app installed then why put something similar into a browser as well?
Age has nothing to do with it.
Every time I tried to use either IE and Edge that very same Red coloured error box kept showing, cutting off the transaction to them.
With BitDefender it noted MD's use of an unsecured certificate being used for some strange reason, which triggered off it's defensive measures. Kaspersky went even further stopping me from even visiting MassDrop due to it being listed as a threat.
Of course I have numerous PCs so I don't use both anti-viral's on one machine. But the common thread here was using the latest version of Firefox v56.0.2. So if that is the common fault here you have to switch off all of it's internal anti-viral features, just to enable the transaction with MassDrop.
Suspect that FF is linking with other paid for anti-viral's and giving them a false flag so the anti-viral's themselves do not do any further checking to determine if the website is indeed safe/unsafe. Maybe someone who is an expert in using the latest version of FF can chime in and give us some advice.
But the company bought licenses for both BitDefender and Kaspersky hence I get to use them on my machines as well.
Just seems strange to own and use any PC these days without installing either of these extra anti-viral's, been doing it for years without much trouble but it did take this venture, to force me to narrow it down to a probable suspect.
Seems a shame why everyone is now in the anti-viral game when there has always been the 'professionals' doing it for some time, hate it when Browsers start interfering and getting involved. Best they concentrate with sticking to the current HTML standards instead of trying to prevent any possible phishing.
I highly recommend you get rid of both.
