jscrub You do realize that you're barking up the wrong tree right? MiTo, the dude that is responsible for the keycaps and the theme that this board gloriously bears, is not the dude that created the ALT (probably wasn't even anywhere near the design process either aside from confirming colors and such) and would likely have 0 idea of where ANY of the PARTS for the keyboard comes from. I would imagine that if you looked at the OTHER ALT page, the original ALT, in the description of that drop, you'd probably find the real people who you'd want to be asking about where the materials are made/sourced from. And if you did join into that drop, holy moly, it looks like you will even get a Q and A with them :D WOW. HOW. COOL. I BET THEY WILL BE SUPER EXCITED.
Oddly enough though, it doesn't appear that you've commented at all in the other ALT page -thinking face- So maybe... you don't care that much at all? Otherwise, I would imagine you'd be pursuing all avenues of investigation to help insure that you're not infringing on any human rights with your OG Massdrop X Alt -thinking face-

KM1337Alt page is dead, this is alive, mitos involvement and the timing with the closing of the ALT drop (yet only month difference in delivery) was the straw that broke the camels back on what was my turning opinion of massdrop. @MiTo has exclusive access to massdrop so what tree I am barking up is an open topic.
I for one think @MiTo would have great sway and should do his due diligence to ensure transparency regarding supplier costs and working conditions.
Again, massdrop has corporatized the group buy model, we as customers should be able to ask more without being assaulted. These are simple questions.

It's nice that you decided to single out MiTo purely for convenience though, just because the other drop ended.
I'm sure if MiTo had any concerns/suspicions about a keyboard with his name on it being associated with slave labor and blood diamonds, he'd probably have said something to whoever he was working with, or just wouldn't have participated in the collab.
Again, I think you'd be better off talking to the people who actually designed the ALT.
Protip: Discussion feature on old drop pages doesn't go away when a drop ends. People can still respond, including MD people.

BlueCrownedMito was added to sell more ALT cases, the timing split the drop in a way as to not provide any additional volume discounts to the ALT group buy.

Sorry for trying to assist with redirecting your frustrations to a more constructive ends. I just think you're going about this in such a way that by its pure essence and execution is nonconstructive , bait-esque, attention seeking and servers no other purpose than to disrupt a community event/group-buy with ridiculous and ultimately irrelevant complaints and demands, that for some reason weren't an issue last month when the same thing was selling in grey. /shrug
