All the keys came out nice, but the gold one was the one that I wanted from the start, and I love it. ;)

CodeMonkeyXThat's exactly how I felt about this set, but unfortunately for me, the gold $ keycap does not fit on snugly at all and is very wobbly and just lifts right off with barely any force. Odd because the 3 other caps fit on just fine.... >_<

Hi Everyone,
We have a quick update on the Massdrop x Moonduck Midas Mode Novelty Keycaps. The keycaps are on their way to our warehouse, and once they arrive they will go through the receiving and quality control process. We are on track to meet our estimated ship date of January 31.

These are the initial samples coming off the production line. That coloring issue will be fixed for the final production samples!

When we first got on the phone with Mr. Midas, we didn’t quite know what would come from this keycap collaboration. I mean, a talking glove does seem like the perfect partner for a keycap collab... but it was hard to know if his charm and wealth were clouding our judgement. We set an ambitious target by making available a few hundred sets of keycaps, knowing that Mr. Midas would gladly deck out a keyboard entirely made of gold and his face assuming we had extras. But we had no clue we’d have 400 people join the drop in the first 2 days!
After the initial success of the drop, we were able to get in touch with Slacks (Mr. Midas is a bit busy running a tournament...) along with our manufacturer, and are going to be able to increase our maximum sets available to 900 sets. We want to do everything we can to make these limited time Midas Mode keycaps available to as many fans as possible.
We’re thrilled to be a small part of Midas Mode, and want to thank you all for the incredible response to this drop and helping bring this idea to life!
