Cotton is oleophobic and indigo dye is oil soluble so don't use any detergents as they will cause lots of bleeding of color. Otherwise a cold wash in the tub with a little vinegar followed by a line dry is fine. Hot water will cause cotton fabrics to shrink by varying amounts but trust me these pants do not shrink just out of the box even with aggresive heat lol.

They have almost no stretch at all don't count on having any and order your size!! Although if you don't wash and they are just slightly too tight they will break in somewhat.

No time at all really if you order your size but if you go too small by just a fraction it can take up to a week so measure yourself and see first. But really 13oz is light enough to feel completely supple and comfortable on the first wear.
