Would be good if there's a sizing diagram to complement the sizing info so that we know how the measurements were taken like from which point of the jeans to which point. Thanks.
P.S. do these wear like straight cut jeans? comfort fit or?

barefooterMeasuring guide from Tate & Yoko (which is run by the folks at Naked & Famous): https://tateandyoko.com/pages/measuring-guide
The jeans in this drop are made in the updated Weird Guy fit, it's slim fitting (decent taper knee-down) with a bit of room in the thigh area but not enough room if you're doing a thousand squats everyday.

bhavThanks for the reply! So if I choose size '31' it's actually meant for waist size 33 inch?

barefooterIn short, yes.
These jeans are vanity sized, similar to typical mall jeans, and the 31" tag size would fit 33" true waist. These are also midrise jeans, so they will sit higher at waist rather than at hip (many mall slim/skinny fit jeans sit at hip). If you can, measure your waist using a flexible tape measure.

bhavThanks for the quick reply. Yes measured with flexible tape already 32.5" so guess better to take size 31" as I don't like jeans too fitting prefer to have some allowance. Think size 32" may be too roomy or baggy?

barefooterMy quick and dirty recommendation is, all other things being ideal, choose size 31 or even 30.
Longer answer (wordy, but I hope it helps):
Measure the rise and thighs of the best-fitting pants you have and see how that compares to the N&F chart for size 31 and 32.
Personally, I'm narrower at the waist than the hips, so I'll choose different pants-waist size depending on where they sit. I would be size 28 in these Ichiban jeans because mid-rise would sit at my waist, but would choose size 29 if the rise was less than 10" because the jeans would sit at my hips.
Raw denim will stretch by 1"-2" after 2-3 weeks of wear. The jeans I'm wearing currently were a bit snug at first, and have loosened up to where I like them to be. I wear a belt to control stretch.
One last item: your thighs. The waist on a pair of jeans might be perfect but the thighs might be too tight, making the jeans unwearable. Measure the thighs on your favorite pants. In the raw denim community, people might occasionally "size for thighs" because they know that the thighs won't stretch while a belt will take care of the waist if it's a bit loose.
I hope this helps!
