So does anyone else own these, AND some Campfire Audio Andromeda and Dorado IEM's? Should I possibly invest in a pair of these too? Or just save my money and enjoy my CA IEM's?
Thanks in advance for your help and experience with the Andromedas and the K10's!

FOBeanI have both the K10U and the Campfire Andromeda. Personally, prefer the Andromeda. The K10U has a warmer, more laid-back, and more intimate sound in relative comparison. Both excellent IEMs though, really more personal preference than anything else. I would highly recommend trying to demo prior to purchasing as it is hard to say which one you would like better, and to be honest, you will only end up using one and having to re-sell the other at a loss.

money4me247Thanks for the share, how is the vocal though? I am looking for a smooth vocal.

techfanaticVocals are good. Smooth is a bit of a vague imprecise term, but yes the K10's treble and upper mids is not peaky or overtly emphasized, so it does have an overall 'smooth' and 'polite' treble. The Andromeda will be brighter and sharper sounding the the K10U, so you shouldn't have any issues with K10U in relative comparison, though as I said earlier the K10U's presence range is more prominent than the Andromeda giving it a more intimate presentation.

money4me247That’s a very detailed reply, thank you! Though the downfall of my w60 is sometimes the female vocals are pretty peaky.

money4me247Thanks for the info money4me247, I REALLY appreciate it!
I guess more than anything else I just wanted to hear a (10) BA Driver IEM, and certainly don't need these! For when I want a more laid back and more "fun" sounding IEM, with more bass than my Andromedas, I just listen to my CA Dorado's, so I think that I'm going to pass on these and just save up for a pair of 64 Audio CIEM's, like the new N8 Lucious hybrid CIEM's. Or get a pair of their universal IEM's like the hybrid Trio or Fourte's!
EDIT: I finally got my Sony MUC-M2BT1 LDAC MMCX Cable in the mail from Japan yesterday. Now I can go wireless without a huge degrade in audio sound quality, and even though it's bigger than my Westone APT-X Bluetooth MMCX Cable, it definitely sounds better and has better resolution and clarity, and an overall better sound! So now I can go HQ/Hi-Res LDAC wireless with my CA Andromeda and Dorado IEM's, as well as my Westone UM Pro 30 Second Generation IEM's. And all 3 of my listening devices ( Google Pixel 1 phone with 32,000 songs uploaded to my Google Play account), Shanling M0 and Sony NW-A35 Walkman, which are ALL capable of putting out the Highest Quality LDAC signal of 990kbps😎👍😇

FOBeani have the k10u massdrop from last drop and love them. I had and sold the CA andromeda (too big and wasn't overly impressed), Vega (great size but unrealistic sound, way to booooomy), and recently Ibasso it04 (good but not great but for $500 its a deal) I bought the K10U used from a massdrop member and love them . They pair w my hiby r3, ibasso dx150 w amp 3, sony zx300 w 4.4, and the mojo and idsd black. I own a senn HD800s and ultrasone sig pro modded w dual exit for balanced and i go back to my K10 u more often than anything especially w the R3. Small and wonderful w very little loss in sound from the mojo or idsd.

doctordoom16Thanks Doctordoom, MUCH appreciated review and comparison of the different IEM's you've had, especially comparing the Andros to the K10U's :) However, that's exactly what I DIDN'T need to hear, because now I want to try the K10U's out lol ;) I REALLY wish there was a trading/testing/auditioning website out there so that you could actually TRY OUT the IEM's before you spend $1,000-$1,500+ on something and find out its NOT your cup of tea, and have to take a loss on re-selling them, not to mention the time and energy involved in doing that! There REALLY needs to be a website out there that let's you try out the IEM's BEFORE you buy them first, so that you can see if they're really what you want or not. IMO that's a HUGE downside to buying high-end IEM's and there's GOTTA be a better way to do things! I REALLY want to spend the $1,500 on a pair of the new CA Solaris IEM's, since they're probably like a combo of both the Andromedas & Dorado's that I love so much (and I LOVE my CA IEM's and their style of tuning), but again, like I said above, I don't want to be a guinea pig and spend $1,500 on IEM's before reading some reviews of them. But I'll most likely end up selling my Andromedas and buying the Solaris IEM's after I sell a TON of stuff I'm no longer using on eBay :) That said, I still also really want to try these K10U's out too. Just wish I didn't have to spend $1k to do it :(

FOBeanYou could just try the Encores, they're quite similar, except the Encore has a bit more sparkle in the treble IMO. I auditioned the Encore vs Andro at my local hifi shop and decided I to pull the trigger on these.
