Updated March 12: Hi Everyone - Quick update on the fulfillment status. As of this morning about 80% of the IEMs are delivered.
Updated March 8: We have an update for those of you affected by the delayed tracking: We just heard back from USPS regarding the delayed tracking issue. They have confirmed that the packages are now leaving Santa Barbara and on their way to various sorting facilities. USPS explained the the items were scanned at the Santa Barbara facility, and a hiccup in their system caused them to not move beyond that point. Many of you should have seen movement from Santa Barbara today (though International orders may take a bit longer). If you do not see any movement in the next few days please reach out to our community support team or to USPS directly, as they have the most accurate and up-to-date information. We apologize for this shipping delay, and we hear all your feedback on the shipping method and the overall lack of communication. We are definitely working on improving this process and we are working with Noble to improve this shipping method on future drops. Updated March 8: Hi Everyone - Thank you all for bringing the USPS shipping delay to our attention. We have already been looking into this, and our head of logistics has been in touch with USPS and Noble. We see there has been some movement on tracking links. Apologies for not communicating this earlier to the impacted group (about 60 of the 150 in this batch were held up ominously by USPS).
I know this delay is very frustrating. As I mentioned, our team, as well as Noble’s, is looking into this and we will let everyone know as soon as we have more information.
Updated February 23: Just checking in to let everyone know that production is wrapping up for the second batch of IEMs. Noble has informed us that they are on track to ship on February 28. Thank you to everyone for their patience with this drop. We are looking forward to you all receiving the first production of the Massdrop x Noble Kaiser 10 Universal IEMs.
Updated February 9: Hi Everyone, We have a quick update on the second batch of the Massdrop x Noble Kaiser 10 Universal IEMs. Noble has informed us that production is still in progress for this batch, and we’re on track to ship the IEMs at the end of February. We’ll provide an update on February 23 with the shipping status. Updated February 2: We want to quickly clarify the confusion around coupons. The coupons were issued only to members whose IEMs were delayed until February 28. We’ve clarified this with Brannan, and we all apologize for the confusion. If you have any questions about which group you are in, please reach out to community support via your transactions page: https://www.massdrop.com/transactions
Updated January 26: Hi Everyone, We have an update on the Massdrop x Noble Kaiser 10 Universal IEMs. Noble has informed us that about half of the units will start shipping to members next week, and unfortunately the other half is still in the final stages of production. The wildfire and mudslide natural disasters in Santa Barbara (where Noble is located) have made it extremely difficult for Noble to receive the necessary parts and finish production work on a predictable schedule. Noble estimates that this batch will be ready to ship to members on February 28. We will be delivering finished units based on when members joined the drop, and we've emailed all drop participants letting you know which batch you are in. For those you in the batch with the additional delay, we have worked with Noble to add a $40 coupon to your account. This coupon will be automatically applied to the next drop you join. Additionally, for those of you in the delayed group, Noble will include their new Gold x Silver cable in appreciation of everyone's patience and support. We apologize for this delay on the later batch, and we know it is extremely disappointing for everyone involved. Noble is doing everything they can to get these IEMs finished, and we are coordinating with them to ship the units as soon as possible. If you don’t want to wait the additional time, you can cancel your order via the transactions page: https://www.massdrop.com/transactions
We’ll have an update on February 9 with the status of the second batch.

Updated 1/12: Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let you all know that we are still on track to meet our estimated ship date of January 31.
I’ll update everyone on or by January 29 with the latest information.
Updated 1/2: Hi Everyone - just wanted to check in to let you know that we are on track to meet our estimated ship date of January 31. The IEMs are in the final stages of production and we'll update you all on or by January 15 with the latest information. Updated 12/13: Hey Everyone, I have an update with the latest information from Noble. Production is still being wrapped up and given the wildfire situation in Santa Barbara (where Noble is located), as well as the holidays, Noble estimates that all IEMs will be finished by January 15. After quality control checks this puts our new estimated ship date as January 31. Noble experienced a delay in obtaining some of the parts required for production, and they’ve explained that they will ship out units as they become available. As a result, we expect most orders to go out before the new estimated date, and all units to ship by 1/31. If you purchased the IEMs as a holiday gift, Noble can provide you with a card and envelope so that the recipient can have something to open. If you would like a card, please reach out to our Community Support team (support@massdrop.com) with your preferred delivery address by Sunday, December 17. We apologize for this delay and we are working with Noble to get these IEMs shipped to you as soon as possible. If you don’t want to wait the additional time, you can cancel your order via the transactions page: https://www.massdrop.com/transactions
I'll update you all on or by January 2 with the latest information.
Updated 12/6: I have an update on the Massdrop x Noble Kaiser 10 Universal IEMs. The IEMs are wrapping up production and it looks like the shipment is going to be slightly delayed. We will have more information on the exact timeline early next week, and I’ll share it with you all as soon as I receive the latest update. I apologize for this delay and can you assure the team is doing the best they can to get these IEMs prepared for shipment. I’ll update you all on or by 12/13 with the latest information.

I have some additional thoughts on this, not that it matters very much, especially to Massdrop or Noble, but feel like writing a bit and getting it out before I move on from this. I posted the above without fully reading the global notice and then when I did read it, for some reason I thought the whole group might be getting the cable based on how it was stated "everyone's patience", not just one group's patience. Still, my fault, I'll own that one.
Now, I didn't think either Massdrop or Noble needed to offer anyone anything. At this point, I really wish they hadn't. We signed up for a drop knowing that the product needed to be produced and ship dates are just estimates and could slide. However, I do believe you need to value the first run drops and early adopters should be rewarded, not effectively penalized for doing so. So, by them choosing to introduce a new bonus and ultimately offering such a lopsided concession to one group and nothing for others, that to me is a serious problem. It really should have been all or nothing. Instead, you've essentially undermined the group who supported you the earliest, not only dropping almost 1K within the first seconds the drop went live, without hesitation, but I might also point out, just like the 2nd batch folks, made it to this point waiting the same time, not cutting and running and asking for a refund when things got tough even though Massdrop likes to say "all sales are final", yet still allowed them to bow out.
Something that disappoints me even more was the apparent breakdown in communication. I would like to have gotten the bonus cable and was willing to wait until a second batch shipment, but figured I'd sit back and see how things played out and see if Massdrop and Noble would do the right thing. Instead, I watched as people asked to be included in the second batch. I watched as people implored for some sort of concession for the first batch... in my mind, it could have been something as simple as a $40 offering to the first batch as well, comp'd the add-on cable many of us probably bought for either lightning or balanced, or even a discount at Noble to buy the premium cable at 50% off, 40% off, anything, but the people who needed to communicate the most, the people asking for our business, went silent. Nothing coming from Massdrop, nothing coming from Noble to talk to their customers. To make matters worse, its apparent now that even when there was communication, it was incomplete or poorly thought out. The communication between Massdrop and Noble failed as Noble was under the impression that everyone was getting a $40 credit, not just the 2nd batch. I surmise even the previous communications about delays and how they would ship as they were available was Noble attempting to tell us this outcome, whereas, as it was pitched, or at least everyone seemed to interpret that to mean that the first ones rolling off the line would ship in mid January and the last ones near February. Instead, we now know what that really meant and ended up with this mess.
What I'll say now that I have them in my possession, I love them, well worth the price and wait in my mind, but based on how tiny these cables are (I have an old set of Shures with stock cables at least 4 times the thickness that feel like I could tie them around a trailer hitch and tow something with them compared to these things where I'm worried if something falls on them they'll split in two) that if the 2nd batch bonus cable is similar in size, there is no way they're worth $300 even with premium materials. I'd say $150 maybe, but that's pushing it. I'm not intending to knock the product or Noble. Rather, my point is, that we ultimately need to find some solace in that the bonus is based on a MSRP. So, $340 total? No, not really.
Finally, what really intrigues me here is what next? Based on that MSRP, they've in a way given the 2nd batch a 33% discount/bonus while giving the early adopters who waited two thirds as long as they did, 0. So, what happens if the end of February gets here and there's another delay for part or even all of the rest of people waiting. If there is a delay for everyone, will they get another bonus, maybe another cable or coupon? Or, if there is a partial shipment and some have to wait until March, will the last group just go ahead and get them for free? Also, based on the hundreds of people who canceled their orders, if additional stock exists, will those be offered up at the same price in March or April with no wait?
Anyway, just felt like expressing myself a bit. I hope Massdrop gets their communication together and contemplates how it treats its customers. But, for this drop, I'm moving on from it. It left me with some mixed feelings, as I'm not sure how quickly I'm going to want to commit to any future drops, but for now, I'm gonna go enjoy my awesome new iems.

CajeTotally agree with your points on the lack of communication from Massdrop and Noble. I am a big fan of Noble IEM, even own a Savant myself. But I could not afford the full price of the K10. Sadly I missed the once in a life time drop for this. I tried to ask a couple of times if there was a second chance while I have seen so many dropout. But no one from Massdrop nor Noble cared to answer. Why is adding a few more impossible if additional stocks exist? :(

The Massdrop x Noble X marked our first collaboration with Noble and an accessible entry point into the Noble product line. We’ve sold ~2,000 units in less than a year and are still going strong. The X was my first custom product and launch from scratch, it means a lot to me that so many of the members here are enjoying them.
Of course…I also dreamt of the day that we would be able to offer an entry into Noble’s statement and highest-end products. :)
If you had wanted to try the #1 rated IEM for the past couple of years but missed them, wonder about the clarity and resolution that comes from having 10 drivers in each ear, or if the previous $1,650 pricetag was too high…we have been able to bring the K10 back and offer another chance at purchasing them.
Pretty quickly, we decided not to request any changes to the name or the sound with this collaboration. This is the original Kaiser 10. (We were happy to add some black, however.)
Massdrop strives to offer great performance and great value, to help grow the community and promote the best audiophile products. Noble understands this mission and has been a great partner we’re excited to continue working with.

Hi Everyone, Now that the drop is over and all of the units have been dispatched, we wanted to provide a post-drop update. The goal of this update is to give more transparency on the success and failure rates on this drop, along with clarity on what we're doing to resolve any issues that came up in this drop.
search
Though the rate of issues reported was very low, we wanted to address the delay and gap in communication that occurred for this first production of the Noble K10s. Many natural disasters hit Santa Barbara (where Noble is located) around the time of final production, and it was extremely difficult for Noble to receive the necessary parts and finish production work on a predictable schedule. This production delay caused us to change our normal fulfillment process and ship the IEMs from Noble’s office, rather than our east coast warehouse. Furthermore, the USPS office in Santa Barbara explained that a hiccup in their system caused the IEMs to be stuck for several days before moving to sorting facilities. Issue Resolution:
  • Production Delay: We do not anticipate any production delays on future collaborations with Noble, as this past delay was directly tied to the natural disasters in Santa Barbara.
  • Shipping Delay: For all future collaborations with Noble we plan to ship directly from our warehouse, as we do with a vast majority of our collaboration drops so we have more control over the fulfillment process. If there is ever a case where we need to ship from a vendor, we're updating our process to ensure the best available courier is used and that we avoid USPS where at all possible.
  • Communication: We did not provide enough information, or timely enough information on the delays that occurred in the first production run for of this drop. For future Noble drops, and all Massdrop collaboration drops, we’re working to provide more transparent and frequent updates. This is a process we are still working on and we appreciate everyone's patience and feedback.
As always, if you have any issues with your IEMs please reach out to our community support team via your transactions page (https://www.massdrop.com/transactions), and they will help you out. We apologize to those who experienced the delay on the first production run, and the lack of communication when the delay occurred. That said, we’re happy to hear that members are enjoying their IEMs, and we are working with Noble on the next run!

There's no use arguing with an idiot that hasn't even used this product or any other TOTL product for that matter. @CptNoHands is an ignorant a troll from the keycap community that has done nothing more than come over here to bitch about the pricing of a product that he knows nothing about. It sounds to me that he is bitter and spent way too much money on worthless PC parts and feels the need to be a douche on the internet about his poor personal decisions.

The technology in iem's exceeds the technology in headphones. Compare a $1000 headphone to a $1000 iem and the iem is going to sound better, be easier to drive, and be more portable.

Received tracking # on the 28th of Feb.. was supposed to get this on the 3rd of March. It is the 5th already and it is still stuck in transit on the USPS website. As of a matter of fact, called USPS and they said that it was never scanned in my state (NY) so they're unsure if it was ever shipped yet!!? Now I have to wait another 2 days so they can investigate and find the damn package.

Yes, I wasn't trying to imply you were shirking responsibility. You were very helpful. What I was trying to say was that it was Massdrop who is responsible for the shipping fiasco. Sorry if that's how you read it. You were more than nice and even contacted USPS on my behalf when you didn't have to. Thank you for being there for us.

This update is for members who joined the drop in March (March 15-March 30):
Update August 3: This drop is 100% shipped.
Update June 29: We’re checking in to let you know the Massdrop x Noble Kaiser 10 Universal IEMs are making their way through production. We’re on track to ship your IEM in early August, and we’ll reach out again in July with the latest information.
Update May 23: We have an update on the remaining orders for the Massdrop x Noble Kaiser 10 Universal IEMs. Noble expects to finish the units in July, which puts our new estimated ship date in early August. We understand this is a major delay, and we apologize greatly. Noble is in the process of moving their office to Texas, and they have been experiencing production delays. The team is working hard to get these final units through production, and we know the delay is extremely disappointing for everyone involved. We’ve sent an email to those affected with more details. We’ll provide a production update in late June. Update May 17: Hi everyone, We have an update on the Massdrop x Noble Kaiser 10 Universal IEMs. The shipment has arrived at the warehouse, however we are missing about a third of the IEMs and we are backordered on the TRRS cables. We are currently working with Noble to get a new estimated ship date for these missing orders. The IEMs we received will start shipping tomorrow based on when members joined the drop. If you are in this first shipment and ordered a TRRS cable, your headphones will ship tomorrow and your cable will ship at a later date. We’ve sent an email to all drop participants informing everyone of which shipment they are in. Noble experienced a delay in production and they were unable to complete all units in time for this drop. The company is currently in the process of transitioning their office from California to Texas, and this has caused delays in their production schedule. For the members whose IEMs and TRRS cables are delayed, we are working with Noble to confirm the new estimated ship date and we’ll provide an update next week with the latest information. We apologize for this delay, and also for our delay on updating the drop. We should have let you all know sooner, and for that I sincerely apologize. For those of you who are delayed, if you don’t want to wait the additional time please contact community support through your transactions page (https://www.massdrop.com/transactions), and the team will help you cancel your order.

In a bit of a dilemma here. Most expensive iems I have are the Westone 30, (also bought at Massdrop) and they are already pretty good. Are these "TOTL" iems truly a big step up from ~$300 iems from well regarded brands, like Westone?

HamseyI don't think you'll experience day and night difference between 300$ westones and 1 million dollar gold plated special holy moly wackamoli in ear monitors. Tried many in-ears, if you want to notice a difference you should aim for larger driver headphones like open back over-ears.
