just received my Noble X this afternoon. After a few hours of burn in, I can definitely tell at the same price range, there are better choices, such as IE80 and UE900. TBH I do not recommend this pair of iem.

warriorsHonestly, I agree. I just got mine in the mail the other day, and I definitely prefer my IE80s (which incidentally are available on amazon right now for ~$45 less than this drop). I'm not saying they're bad headphones (the construction quality is really good, and the sound quality is decent), but one could do better for less.

lowkey.savageI have a set of these also. I feel like they definitely sound good with a good seal. I also feel like there are some great phones in this price range. I just think people buying these want a set of Nobles. I guess if you don't care at all about branding you could get an amazing pair of 7 driver ChiFi iems for about $250, that will kick the crap outa most sub $800 IEMs. It's a bummer that some are disappointed in these, tbh I thought I was gonna be disappointed too! I happen to be pleasantly surprised. I'm not gonna say "try this or try that" because these things sound amazing, because if you don't like em, you don't like em. I can say I own another pair of nobles that cost twice as much as the X and I can honestly say that the X hold their own with the more expensive nobles I have.

JoeyPI think it sounded alright, but really though, IM02 and Orions (If you're willing to consider B-Stock option) outclasses this. IM02 wins by having some sweet mids and great separation, and Orions win due to sheer technicality in its mids as well, and having well controlled and not boosted midbass and uneven treble. Really, when I got these I tried so hard to love it but alas I can't. And to top it off, at that point I haven't crazily invested in audios
They might be good compared to other, more expensive Nobles, but then again, opinions are opinions. Us hating these doesn't mean any less than you loving your pairs. At the 250 pricetag, you can easily get anything that isn't Chi-Fi that sounds just as good or even better. IM02, LS200, perhaps even P1 is above these in terms of technicality and (for me) enjoyability.
True, you're getting Nobles more for the branding rather than anything, but when I can live with the unmodded 6k peak in the HD800, and the shrill 10k peak on a Beyer T1, doesn't it mean something about the glaring issue on the Noble X? There might be some issue in the sound getting distorted, but it doesn't feel good in a rather clean and competent HA-2 SE

malvinvnvNever said I loved them, simply that I was pleasantly surprised. We all hear things the way we hear them. I personally hate precision type reference. I don't think that what any artist or produce is trying to achieve in the mix. What they try to achieve is a good balance though out a wide range of audio players and speakers, including crappy car speakers, crappy earphones and plastic Bluetooth speakers. I personally cringe at the thought of not being able to add eq, because I think everything sounds like crap without it;-). With that being said, it's probably not a good idea for me to write reviews about earphones and headphones. Im not in this for the holy grail, I just like nice stuff;-) . Heck, I have a $20 pair of Chi-Fi that's makes you wonder why you need to spend tons of cash on iems. Like I said, I just like nice stuff.

malvinvnvAs someone who has owned the pinnacle p1 I personally would take the Noble X over it any day. With that being said I believe it honestly comes down to sound preferences. There are some really respectable reviewers who consider the Noble X to be a very solid all rounder definitely worth the price asked and more.
