Right ear keeps cutting out
So I have a PC38x headset that I bought a few years back. I moved away from home for work, and left the headset there with my gaming PC. I used it maybe 2 or 3 times before I left, and it always had the problem of it cutting out in my right ear phone. It makes like a crackling noise like something is loose, and then cuts out the audio entirely. Sometimes it works for a few minutes, but inevitably cuts out on the right side again. I am wondering if there is a fix? Or could I be shipped a new one?

Unfortunately, these just don't seem to be quite durable from what I've experienced and read in a few reviews and comments on the Discussions tab. I never mistreated these or did anything strenuous with them. The only time they've been outdoors was to walk my dog. Anyways, one day when pulling the right one out of my ear the casing/housing separated at the seam. It was easy enough to just click it back into place but after that first separation, it became a regular occurrence. I'd be extra careful to pinch the IEM in my ear to remove it instead of pulling from the cable but eventually the seal or connection just got too weak. When I was brushing my teeth this morning (4/06/18), one of the pieces of plastic housing fell -- wait for it -- down my sink! So the piece of housing is gone for good so that's the end of my IEM's unfortunately. They do sound excellent though, they're extremely comfortable and the cable was great. I've even been able to listen to things in bed with my head against the pillow which is extremely rare for me. I would prefer a straight jack though so it's less awkward when holding your phone or music device. If you're okay with it, super glue them the first time they separate, if it actually happens to your pair.
Mine were delivered November 1, 2017 and the first time they actually 'broke' was around February. If they were like $30 I would still be quiet upset and disappointed with the build. I've had Apple Earpods from my original iPhone 6 that are still kicking despite being banged around, worn to the gym for years, washed in a pair of jeans, tangled and untangled, dropped, etc. so I definitely think the build needs a lot of work because like most new things, I was very careful with them. Maybe I'm extremely unlucky, either way it was a nice run but I do wish they were more durable and better built. The audio, comfort and accessories (two cables, silicone and foam tips, carrying case) punch way, way above the $59.99 price tag.
