rubber tip earphones literally NEVER worked for me. the only earphones that worked on me are the apple ones, which is why i only use headphones. but I am interested if foam tips work better. does anyone have similar experiences?
foam tips are much more comfortable but wears out much quicker.
I also found Spinfit's silicone tip to be quite comfortable.
AND if you're still not comfortable, you might want to try some earbuds like the VE Monk Plus ;)
Have you tried spin fit? My mind changed after that.
I´d also recommend to try SpinFits in case any other silicone tip doesn´t work. We work with SpinFit directly and use custom made SpinFits with some of our other products.
Are there going to be other drops for these ear buds in the future?
Just got mine EDCs and they are great. Which size spinfit would you suggest?
CP100 works with the EDC nozzle. I am currently using SpinFits as well. :-)
The EDCs are very comfortable and sound great with my Dragonfly Black. A great introduction to nuforce products.
The EDCs have burned in for 100 hours and the sound has opened up some, more dynamic, with the bass deepening. Just got my spinfit cp100s. While they are too big for the barrel on the EDCs, I recall reading an early review of the EDCs by one of the testers on Head-fi, who used the stock tips put on backwards as the base for the spinfits. Works. While it's hard to say how much the spinfits help, without a second pair of EDCs, I have to say I'm very happy with the results. Listening to Yosi Horikawa, great imaging, bass is much deeper than before burn in and spinfits. Treble is not as rolled off. Again I'm using this with a dragonfly black. My only comment is the case is a little small if you are going to use the EDCs with a dragonfly and a cable. Pelican micro 1010 solves the problem and isn't too expensive $16 CDN at the Mountain Equipment Coop. Happy to carry these around with me every day.
Well this is embarrassing...I realized that I gave you wrong SpinFit model. Terribly sorry, this was completely my mistake. Its CP800 that has the correct nozzle size.
However I am glad that you managed to make the CP100 work! Happy to hear you enjoy the EDCs!
can't wait to get mine they arrive on Monday. Curious to see what I got in the blue box.
That's good to hear. Would they fit with the CP240 model, the double flange ones? Tia.
I would think the double flange one would push out the IEMs a bit too much. But you could try if they have with the smaller nozzle size.
