View Full Discussion @Jyri Hi! I own a HEM1 and I just ordered an EDC. I was wondering if the cables between these two models are interchangeable/compatible?
Sorry for the delay. No, unfortunately those are not. HEM1 is using our standard HEM cable. Differences are the pin size - EDC is using 0.77mm and HEMs 0.75mm. While the HEM tolerance would allow using 0.77mm, the EDC polarity is different.
Awww thats a shame... But thanks for the clarification tho! You have a good day :)
Hey i was just wondering how these would stack up to the hem4s as I would like a less expensive pair to bring with me on the go.
Very different sound. HEM4s are very neutral, balanced and analytical sound. The EDC is warmer, thicker and with lower resolution. However if you like HEM4, I think you would like the EDC as well. Hopefully my answer was helpful.
Yes thank you. Your answer was very helpful.
