I've been loving these iems so far, but recently when I took the left one out of my ear using the chord stem the translucent shell split apart. Since these are snap fitted together I was able to snap it back in place but since that first happened it happens whenever I try to take it out of my ear in that manner. The audio functionality of the iems are unaffected, but I was wondering if this was a common issue or the pair I received have some sort of manufacturing defect.

The same thing happened to my right side, is this covered by the warranty?

Its not common and technically its not manufacturing defect but it has happened to few customers. The two shells can handle 10kg pulling force which is 2x what normal earphones can handle. However, of course there can be sudden lever type of movement which then breaks the glue between the shells. If you connect the earphones together they should work normally but I´d be glad to replace the earphones. Can you contact our team and they can arrange replacement pair?
