I'll definitely buy one of these once they get in stock and get listed in a daily drop. Till then I have my EDC as otg phones.
Or wait a sec.... is this some special pre-production pre-order price?
no its a permanent price. I was purchasing it too, but the delay in shipping made me back out of it. I was in fact selling my rha t20i to try these, but i think i'll keep 'em for now. I am purchasing the cayin n3 now as a digital audio player.
That's good, but maybe shipping isn't free or subsidized next time.
i think that if you live in the US, you will always get free shipping on this item. But, as I live in India, shipping cost is required. But i think that even if the subsidized shipping is removed, the price will increase by $3-$4 max. So its not a huge deal for me
Shipping for the Thinksound Blue Box was $13 and I pay $4.25 for this, so that would be the difference.
I don't know if you know this but shipping cost depends on the size of the box and not on the price of the product itself
I know that. I only compared with the Thinksound Blue Box where I also get an IEM, and the package should be similar size.
the only thing i know is this, the shipping price might be bumped up to $7 as the shipping cost of the edc is $7 to India, and the size of both the boxes are expected to be the same. So, if that is going to be the case, then i am fine with that.
Hopefully they'll get back with stock for the same price. I jumped into the Headamp drop, so no more money to spend for me right now. I'm outside US so I'll pay for shipping anyway.
Cool, I have the Cayin N3 on my radar too. Great bargain for the price.
Yeah same thoughts here too. I can't believe cayin put a flagship dac at $149 price! I currently have a fiio q1 dac/amp ccombo. But due to its low power output, I am upgrading to the cayin n3 dap. Its got a better amp and dac in a compact body.
Headamp is interesting. Did you take the Slim?
I went like go big, or go home and took the pico power :) jokes aside I want to use them with IEMs and full sized cans too... I don't bother changing 9V batteries (will get li-ion ones) and for me the power is still considered portable sized. Also common opinion is the power is both stellar with IEMs and full sized cans.
OK, thanks. Maybe should go for Power then.
